Dewey Cox

Ik heb lang uitgekeken naar Walk Hard, een parodie van muzikale biopics, zoals Walk the Line en Ray. De trailer zag er fantastisch uit en John C. Reilley als de getormenteerde rocker Dewey Cox in een film van de makers van Superbad… dat kon alleen maar goed gaan. Komedies krijgen nooit echt genoeg respect, maar deze had van mij de Oscar voor de beste film mogen krijgen, want de film slaagt in alles wat hij probeert te bewerkstelligen.

En de muziek is fantastisch…

Mijn favoriete moment: Dewey Cox ontdekt de protest song. Wat volgt is een fantastische Bob Dylan impression:
